Born 4/20/53, #50451 was purchased by Lt. Stoddard Bangs at Sonauto, Paris on 5/7/53. Bangs sent it to Ft. Carson, CO and he kept it till late '53. It stayed in CO until '57 then to OK w/6 more owners. Due to tax issues, the last owner sold through Mecum Nov 2016 to a European. Four Europeans had it until I purchased it mid-2023. #451 is amazingly original carrying its original engine, transmission, and body panels. It was lightly "restored" in 1995 and stored long-term. Options include: gas gauge, reclining seats, Telefunken radio, chrome rim hats, engine insulation, and horn grills.
