Purchased the car 2 1/2 years ago from a local owner that had planned a father & son project 25 years prior.
This is my 4th Porsche of which 3 ended up restoration projects. I have been a PCA member for 44 years.
When I acquired the car it was a 3D puzzle of dismantled parts in 8 tubs. Appeared to have been painted with rattle cans - even the windows had overspray on them when I finally got them out of the doors. It had no windshield or rear glass. Motor & transmission were both completely redone in addition to a new wiring harness.
I have enjoyed this project immensely.
