I purchased this car for $1,500 while living in Los Angeles, it was in really bad shape. I purchased the Haynes repair manual and a set of metric wrenches. Without knowing anything about car restoration, my then 4 year old son and I began the journey to bring this car back to life. Over the years, we learned how to do tasks like rebuilding the engine, repairing the brakes and reburbishing the interior. It look us 13 years, but we finished just in time for him to drive it to junior prom. This car provided me with many wonderful memories with my son, hands covered in grease in the garage.
