Built for Sports Purpose use, the bespoke 2.8L RSR spec engine is the main attraction. Starting from a .7R case, the 10.5: 1, twin plugged engine features old-school touches like its boat-tailed main webs, knife-edged crank, and high-butterfly mechanical fuel injection. A built 915 with LSD replaced the original 901, deemed much more appropriate for the engine’s output. Custom gears were also chosen, going with a B-GA-0-R-ZA set, offering a tall first, close 2-3-4, and a long 5th. Porsche 930 brakes slow the car when needed, and 7 and 8 inch Fuchs in RSR finish match well with the RS bodywork.
