We purchased the car 30 years ago from the original owner. I was looking for a 69 / 912 and came across an ad in Autotrader Magazine, I called the owner and told him that the car was out of my budget but i would like to come over and see the car he said yes, 6 months later i got a call from (Tom Wilson-original owner) and he ask if i had purchased a car and i said no and then he said are you still interested in the car and i said yes, we set up a time for Friday to look at the car. When i arrived he ask me my budget and told him and he said if you can come up with another $500 the car is yours
