I acquired this car in May 2005.
I am the third owner of this rare example of the first generation, non-intercooled, Turbo Carrera.
The car is production number 255 of 717 designated for the US market.
Contributing to its rarity is the Peru Red paint - one of 13 examples for model year 1977.
The exterior retains the original paint at 121,000+ miles.
The original sport seats have been reupholstered (2006) with custom tweed inserts. The rest of the interior is the original full-leather cork.
