In 1983, the 911 SC Cabriolet became the first fully open-top 911. This was Porsche's first cabriolet since the 356 of the mid-1960s, the first convertible 911, and the only year of the 911 SC to be a drop top.
This particular ‘83 911SC left the factory on Dec 23, 1982 as the ninth 911 cabriolet ever made. It came equipped with Sports Seats, a Limited Slip Differential, forged Fuchs wheels, Fog Lights, and a Blaupunkt Monterey radio, with an electrically-activated antenna. It has been faithfully maintained to original standards by three owners since new.
