The 944 has a special place in our hearts as we left our wedding in a similar car, but in Guards Red, 39 years ago.
As the past president of the Yosemite Region and a lifetime racer, I was looking for something to help the region. A couple of years ago, I started attending PCA national, HPDE instructor webinars and became an instructor in April 2024.
Our car is set up as a 944 Cup car with license plates. As an instructor, I was moved into the "Red" advanced group for HPDE events. In a sea of modern supercars, it is an experience to be passed by them, on a wave by, at 150 MPH. LOL
