Newly purchased by Nancy's dad at the Atlanta dealership. He brought the car to his mother's house in rural Cleveland GA where her driveway was a long former railroad bed with a steep incline into the carport.
He asked Nancy, who he taught to drive on a 1942 Jeep Willys, if she wanted to drive the new car home.
He explained the clutch was stiffer and originated in the floor which was different from other manual cars she'd driven.
Of course, the answer was, "Yes!"
She went outside. It was parked precariously close to the ball hitch, but they both survived without a scratch!
