1994 Joest-Porsche B36 Caravelle Carat. I’m pretty sure you are familiar with the B32 VW Transporters that were built by Porsche, maybe 11 exist. Mine was built by Joest Racing in 1993 and carries a serial number issued by Joest Racing. The serial number is very special in that it belonged to a Joest prepared 962 #129, Winner of the 24 hours of Daytona in 1991 for team Joest. The serial number of my Joest-Porsche is 962129JR001. Joest Racing built the Van using 964 drivetrain and delivered it to John Winter ( Louis Krages ) who was the driver that crossed the finish line in 962 #129.
