Purchased in Amsterdam in July 2022 after a three-year pursuit of my White Whale; following failed deals and watching it change hands before convincing the last owner to sell. Driven as intended on the Autobahn before coming home to the US in 2025.
From 1992–95 fewer than 3000 Porsche 928 GTS models were built, with ~667 5-speeds. In 1995 (RoW), 399 examples were produced, including 54 manuals and 17 slick-tops.
Only 10 928s were ever finished in Amaranth Violet - German market only. One combined a 5-speed and slick-top, this exact car. With factory sport shocks to complete this legend.
